Sensory processing disorder (SPD) presents challenges for individuals regardless of age. In essence, SPD involves the way the brain processes sensory stimuli from the world around them. This means that individuals with SPD may have sensations more intensely than others. Some common symptoms of SPD include: Over-sensitivity to sounds, lights,
